[How To] Hide Folders completely even from Show Hidden Folders in Windows

You’re all aware about the windows hidden feature file and folder feature, but there is a drawback in the same. Because if you’re hiding a file or folder using properties and enabling the hidden option, the folder/file will disappears. But when you enable “Show Hidden Files and Folders” in Control panel, then all the hidden files/folders will be visible with dim colors. Here many people wants to hide their files/folders completely even from Show Hidden Folders in Windows. There is a way to do this using Command Prompt Dos commands.

How To Steps:

1. Create a folder and name it.

2. Now Open Command Prompt and type

attrib +s +h “Folder Path”

E.g. : attrib +s +h “E:\Works\T2Lead”

3. Hit Enter and now the folder will be invisible, even though Show Hidden files and Folders option enabled. Try it Now.

4. To Unhide the Folder execute the below command.

attrib -s -h “Folder Path”

E.g. : attrib -s -h “E:\Works\T2Lead”
