Android 6.0 Marshmallow Launched Officially

The next version of Android was launched officially by Google. Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is announced in the Google I/O 2015 event earlier this year was now officially released alongside with the two new Nexus devices Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. These two smartphones are the first devices to run with Android Marshmallow. The first tablet to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow is PIXEL C tablet.


Android 6.0 Marshmallow has several key features which includes, Google Pay Now, Now on Tap, Better Battery Performance, Uninstall any app from the device, UI and design improvements, etc.,

Google hosted an event today, where they have announced many products along with Android Marshmallow. The announcement includes two Nexus 2015 smartphones, new Pixel C tablet which is built end-to-end by Google and the new ChromeCast device.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will roll out to the existing Nexus devices[5,6,7,9 and Nexus Player] from next week.
