The company has launched a new range of audio products in India. beyerdynamic Beat BYRD Earphone is one of the product launched in India. The Beat BYRD comes with well-balanced sound tuning and punchy bass. This earphone is launched at an affordable price of Rs.2199 in India. We have been testing the earphone for quite a few days and here is the review of the earphone.
Design:
The earphone comes with the all-new design and logos by beyerdynamic. The earphone looks premium at an affordable price and is designed to fit inside the ear, which is a comfort even while lying on the bed or during physical activities. The earphone comes with a rubberised cable with a length of 1.2 meters and at the end of the cable, there is a 3.5 mm jack. The weight of the earphone is only 5 grams (without cable), hence there won’t be any extra load in the ear while wearing them and it is very comfortable. The earphone lacks controller buttons and as well as the mic.

Sound Quality:
The overall sound quality of the earphone is good and it is one of the best entry-level earphones which deliverables good sound and fits in the ear comfortably. As mentioned by the company the sound is well balanced. The earphone is ideal to be used with smartphones. We have tested various sounds with different genres, audio clips extra and we could see that the earphone’s bass has a good amount of detail. Even with 60% of volume, the earphone delivers enough sound which is suitable for all genres.
The earphone is suitable for hearing podcasts, music while driving, playing games, watching movies, etc., The only disadvantage is that the earphone lacks mic and controller buttons. Hence, calls through this earphone is not possible. But still, when considering the sound quality the earphone is recommended as an entry-level earphone with acceptable sound quality. The cable is very flexible and comes with a rubberized finish.
Overall, the performance is good, it is suitable for listening to a wide range of genres.
