Brainwavz has recently launched their new Bluetooth earphone in their BLU series, which is named as BLU-Delta Bluetooth 4.1 Earphone. This new earphone was designed to provide easy mobility and tangle free experience to the users. The earphone was packed with better battery capacity and Bluetooth 4.1 technology. The earphone is small and easy to carry with its accessories in a bundled carry case provided along with the earphone. BLU-Delta was launched to compete with the other Bluetooth earphone makers in the market with a budget price segment.
I have been using the earphone for more than 15 days and here is the detailed review of the same.

Design :
The Earphone is designed in a solid metal housing and the cable connecting the earphones and the controller is very flexible and tangle free. The earphone fits well in the ear and I would suggest you check the 3 silicone earbuds and choose the correct one which fits well in your ear. So that you can make the earphones comfortable with your ears. The inline controller which is called as the inline remote for the device has 3 buttons, mic, charging point, built-in battery and the notification light, which was well-built. The controller seems to add some weight to the cable, but it doesn’t felt as a disadvantage. Because the earphone was balanced to fit in the earphone and neck, even in motion and on very active condition. There is a push neck slider and a short clip is available on the earphone to make it fit while we are active.

Usage :
To get started with the earphone, Just press the Play/Pause button on the inline remote for 4 seconds to power on the earphone, once powered on you will see the blue LED flash for 3 times and the voiceover saying “Your Brainwavz Product is Now On”. Similarly to turn off the earphone press and hold the same button for 3 seconds, you will see red LED flash for 3 times and voiceover saying “Powering Off Bye”.
In order to pair the earphone with another device, say for example smartphone. First turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and now make sure the BLU Delta earphone is in OFF mode. Now Press and Hold the play/pause button on the inline remote for 6 to 8 seconds and you will see the blue and red LED flash and the voiceover saying connecting. Choose the earphone on your smartphone and pair. By this way, you can engage the pairing mode. Once paired, from the time just press and hold the button for 6 to 8 seconds and the device will be paired with your smartphone.
You can use the Plus button on the inline remote for Volume Up and next song change. Quick Presses makes the volume up and press for 2 seconds will change the next song. The same for Minus button, whereas it reduces the volume and goes to the previous song. Finally the center button, which is used to play/pause with one quick press. Also, this button is used to power on/off and pairing.
The charging port is available on the side and the charging cable is providing in the box. It will take approximately 2 hours to charge the earphones completely. While charging the red LED indicator denotes charging and the blue LED indicator denotes the earphone is fully charged. The microphone is available at the back side of the inline remote.
Performance:
The Earphone performs well with the decent output. The sound quality is decent which means it gives a normal sound. The sound is not very loud or very low. It delivers the loud sound output of what most of the Bluetooth earphone delivery. Moreover, it has the CVC echo and noise cancellation which gives more clarity in the music and the voices are more clear during voice calls. The earphone fits well in the ear and push neck slider, a short clip is available to make it comfortable while wearing. I have used it while running and doesn’t felt the earphones are dropping down from the ears. The voiceover sounds are little disgusting, but it is not a big disadvantage. The average battery life I get with the earphone is 5 to 6 hours. The earphone will go on standby mode, if not used for a long time. The cables are tangle free and easy to carry. The only disadvantage i faced while using this device is that the pairing of the earphone functionality needs little improvement.
The overall performance is decent enough for the budget Bluetooth earphone.

The Brainwavz BLU-Delta Bluetooth 4.1 Earphone is one of the Bluetooth earphones with very little things to dislike. The earphone sound quality is decent for the majority of the people and it performs really well with the quality when considering with the other overpriced earphones. The earphone managed to perform well at the price of around Rs.3000 or $49.5.
