After a month from the release of beta 2 update, now the company has released Android Oreo beta 3 updates for its Essential Phone which includes patches for Spectre and Meltdown, new features and bug fixes. Essential team is continuously working on a stable Android Oreo update, but in the meanwhile, the company has released a beta update to fix the issues on its previous version.
The beta 3 update is versioned as build OPM1.170911.254. The OTA update is already started rolling out to the Essential Phone running on beta 2 version which is a 106.5 MB update. If you want the beta 3 build package from the official website, you can download here and it is sized at around 1 GB.
