Google Duo is a video calling app announced by Google during the IO 2016 event happened in May 2016. Nearly after 3 months of the announcement, two days back Google released the stable version of the Duo app for android and iOS.
Google Duo supports 720p HD video calling and the quality is optimized for low bandwidth mobile networks. While on the go, the app will switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data automatically without dropping the call. All the calls made using Duo app are encrypted. The app will be available in 78 languages when it is globally launched.
