Many times you got stuck in finding a keyword using find tool in excel having multiple work sheets. By default, whenever you open find tool and enter a keyword to find, it search only the current work sheet and provide you the result. This is very difficult if we need to find the same keyword in all the work sheets in a multi sheet excel and its time consuming. In this tutorial i have a detailed steps to find a keyword in all sheets in a multi sheet excel using the same find tool.
How To Steps:
1. Open the Multi Sheet Excel.
2. Press Control key + F [ctrl+F] too open “Find” tool.
3. Enter the keyword and press the “Options” button. This will provide some additional options to find.
4. Now under “Within” option , by default you will have “sheet“. Press the drop down and change it to “Workbook” and press the find button, it will search the keyword in all the sheets in the excel.
I have made this tutorial on Microsoft Excel 2013. Also this has been tested in Excel 2010,2007 versions.
