From today, you can able to share multiple photos and videos in a single post on Instagram. Yes, the popular image sharing social media Instagram has announced its feature which will allow you to upload 10 photos and videos in a single post. Instagram had multiple version updates in the last few months like stories, live video, etc., In addition, multiple photos and videos upload will be a great treat for the hardcore Instagram users.
With this update, you no longer have to choose the single best photo or video from an experience you want to remember. Now, you can combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post and swipe through to see them all. In the official blog post, the Instagram team confirmed that the multiple uploads will be displayed as a single entity along with blue dots at the bottom to access other photos in the feed with a single caption.
Once you got the update, you will see a new icon called SELECT MULTIPLE in the upload page. Tap on that option to choose multiple photos and videos. You can apply the filter to all the photos and videos you choose at once or one by one. The entire post has a single caption as I mentioned earlier. The first photo will be displayed in the feed with an option to slide to view the other photos. You can also arrange the order of the photos and videos.
The update will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks on iOS and Android. To confirm, I have already got this update on my Android phone and I’m from India. Do check out App store and Play store for the updates. In few weeks the update will reach worldwide.
