Microsoft has officially released the Canonical’s Ubuntu Linux Distro For Windows 10 in Windows Store. If you want to install it on your Windows 10 Operating System, Please follow the below steps.

How To Install Ubuntu Linux Distro on Windows 10:
Step 1: Download and Install the Ubuntu Linux Distro on Windows 10 from Windows Store.
Step 2: To use this feature, you first need to use Turn Windows features on or off and select Windows Subsystem for Linux, click OK followed by a reboot.
Open Settings > search for Turn Windows features on or off > Enable Windows Subsystem for Linux > Save > Reboot.
You can also achieve the same by using Administrator PowerShell prompt:
Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
Step 3: Once done, you can launch Ubuntu by typing ubuntu on the command-line prompt (cmd.exe), or click on the Ubuntu tile in the Start Menu.
