Last week on Jun 8th, LeEco held a grand launch event at SIRI Fort Auditorium Delhi. #2Future was the tagline for the event, where they announced their second generation smartphones in India. The announcement contains 2 cool new flagship phones, new audio technology, official marketplace for LeEco products and more. I was there at the event and had a hands-on experience with the latest phones and headsets.
Le 2:
Le 2 is the upgraded version of the popular smartphone Le 1s. This time, LeEco upgraded its processor and camera. Le 2 comes with a standard combination of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM with an upgraded Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera add value to the phone. The picture quality is really nice.
Le2 supports all 4G bands in India and also VoLTE will be soon available through OTA update. In addition, this phone supports 3G, LTE, and GSM bands. Le 2 is priced at Rs.11,999 and it will be available through FlipKart and LeMall. The phone also comes with one year LeEco Membership worth Rs. 4,900. The registration for Le 2 will start on June 20th.
Le Max 2:
Besides Le 2, LeEco also released 2 versions of the second generation of Le Max, which is Le Max 2. Le Max 2 is powered by the world’s most powerful and latest Snapdragon 820 processor. Le Max 2 comes with 2 variants, one is 4 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM priced at Rs. 22,999 and the other is 6 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM priced at Rs. 29,999. Le Max 2 also comes with one year LeEco Membership worth Rs. 4,900. The registration for Le Max 2 will start on June 20th and the first flash sale will be on June 28th.
Le Max 2 features a 5.7 inch 2K retina display. It comes with 21 MP rear camera holding 6P lens, PDA, closed Loop, OIS, Dual HDR, Dual tone flash technologies and 8 MP front camera. Le Max 2 has a dual antenna and dual band which makes the WiFi 4 times faster.
CDLA:
CDLA stands for Continual Digital Lossless Audio
LeEco has replaced the 3.5 mm headphone port with the CDLA type-c interface and it’s a big step ahead. Every pair of CDLA earphones has its own independent ID, so it knows who is using it and what recommendations and preferences it can offer to the user, seamlessly integrating with LeEco’s ecosystems. The two new phones Le 2 and Le Max 2 comes with this technology. The CDLA headphones are priced at Rs.1999.
LeMall:
LeMall is LeEco’s very own marketplace e-commerce website. LeMall.com, first launched in Mainland China in 2013 and later it was expanded to united states and hong Kong. Now, LeEco launching its official e-commerce website in India. You can get all LeEco products from this website. The two new phones will be available on Flipkart and LeMall.com
