Qualcomm’s Quick Charging Technology is designed to fast charge the devices featuring the companies own Snapdragon processors. This technology was introduced to reduce the long charging time for smartphones and other devices. If the processor supports the quick charging option, then the manufacturer can able to enable/disable the feature for their users.
Qualcomm’s Quick Charging Technology is numbered based on its upgrades like Quick Charge 1,2,3,4. In the row, Quick Charge 4/4+ is the latest version of the technology offered by the company. But its already been a year since it’s launched. Even though it was launched a year ago, not even 1% of the smartphones were enabled with this feature. Few of the smartphone makers have their own quick charging mechanisms like OnePlus Dash charge, Pixel USB-PD and some custom charging technologies. Still, the Quick Charge 3.0 technology is not adopted in many smartphones. We have already posted the list of smartphones that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
Qualcomm will release the official list of the devices capable of its quick charging technology periodically. Likewise, last month the company has published the official list of devices with quick charging technology which also includes the devices capable of Quick Charge 4.0/4+.
As per the official list, only two smartphones are capable of Quick Charge 4/4+.
List of Smartphones Support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4/4+:
- Nubia Z17
- Razer
Hope more smartphones makers will adopt this technology in their upcoming flagship smartphones.
Note: The above-mentioned device list was last updated on FEB 2018. The above list contains only the smartphones having the necessary hardware for Quick Charge 4/4+ Technology and not the list of Quick Charge 3.0 or lower. We will update the list if any devices newly launched with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4/4+ technology.
