Motorola officially announced the list of phones getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update. Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is consider as one of the most significant version of Android, announced in Google IO 2015 event. Followed by which google held an event last week to introduce its latest nexus phones and other devices running on Android Marshmallow. Google also stated that the update for Nexus devices will be available in next few days.
So the popular smartphones companies now working hardly to deliver the latest android version to its users. Some of the smart phone makers already started announcing the list of devices which will get the Marshmallow updates.
Motorola, popular smart phone maker posted its official list of devices which will get Marshmallow update. The below devices will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by end of this year.
- 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen)
- 2015 Moto X Style (3rd gen)
- 2015 Moto X Play
- 2015 Moto G (3rd gen)
- 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (2nd gen)
- 2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia2 (2nd gen)
- 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE2 (2nd gen)
- DROID Turbo
- 2014 Moto MAXX
- 2014 Moto Turbo
- Nexus 6
Motorola also stated, Moto Assist and Moto Migrate will no longer be available after the update, due to which the functionality of these apps are now natively built-in with Android. Hence, they are removing the app from its devices after the update.
