Yesterday, we saw the update about Links Copying and Link History tab in WhatsApp, to the surprise the document sharing which is one of the much-awaited feature has been introduced by the WhatsApp team.
The new WhatsApp update adds the document sharing feature to the users. The Documents icon was addded to the attachment list. Previously photo and video icons are separated and now both are combined with a camera icon and space was filled with Documents icon. As of now you can only share PDF documents.
Just go to the media screen where you used to get the images and videos of the chat, there you can now see three tabs with MEDIA, DOCUMENTS and LINKS.

Please update your WhatsApp to the latest version to get the feature. The Documents sharing update was spotted the WhatsApp versions with 2.12.493 or later. You can download them from here.
You can also test the beta version from Google Play Store by visting WhatsApp testing page and choose to become a tester.
