Twitter Lite was initially introduced earlier this year as a progressive web app, but back in September it was published on the Play Store as a standalone application. Now, the company has extended the availability of the Twitter Lite app to 24 new countries and users will be able to download Twitter Lite via Google Play Store.

Twitter Lite consumes minimal data, quick load times on slow connections, and a small 3MB package. You can turn on data saver mode to download only the images or videos you want to see. Now the app is available in Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Israel, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Malaysia, Nigeria, Nepal, Panama, Peru, Serbia, El Salvador, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, Tanzania, and Venezuela.

This app is not available in India yet. But, if you can’t wait, until its official launch in India, you can download the app from APKMirror and experience it. Twitter Lite is currently compatible with devices supporting Android versions 5.0 and above.
