Canonical’s Ubuntu Linux Distro For Windows 10 is now officially available for download from Windows Store. Earlier this year, during build 2017 developer conference Microsoft has announced the launch of Ubuntu and now it is officially available to all Windows users. According to Microsoft, this feature will eventually become available to anyone who runs Windows 10 Fall Creators Update or later.
It can be installed alongside your Windows 10 operating system. With this, you can now run Linux commands on your windows 10 operating system. It allows you to run Ubuntu terminal and run its command line utilities including bash, ssh, git, apt, dpkg and more. Install distros side-by-side: WSL has been enhanced to support the installation of multiple distros alongside one another

Ubuntu Linux Distro is compatible with PCs running on Windows 10 64 bit operating system. The approximate download size of the app is 192.4 MB.
