Google announced a major update to voice search feature for its Android and iOS devices. This update brings more accuracy in voice searches, commands [in Android and iOS] and dictation on Android devices.

Speech Recognition was first announced by Google on 2012 and from there Google released a lot of updates to it which includes “OK Google” command. Google posted in their official research blog post, that they have built a neural network acoustic models using Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC) and sequence discriminative training techniques. These technologies are used to bring more accuracy even in noisy background and the response time will be made faster when interacting in Voice Search.

The new features are now available to users of the service, so you can just try this feature and that’s it.
