Last Year, the company has announced its latest version, MIUI 9 public beta with a bunch of new features and faster when compared to the previous version of MIUI operating system.
One of the notable features about MIUI 9 is that the company has announced that the latest MIUI 9 ROM update is rolling out to 40 devices [which covers almost all the devices] launched by Xiaomi. Even the smartphones launched during the year 2012 were getting the update, which means the company is still working to support their 5 to 6 years older device as well. We really appreciate the efforts taken by Xiaomi for providing updates to the older device.

The list of devices getting the MIUI 9 update was released by the company on an Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo through a post.
If you are holding any of the Xiaomi devices listed above, then you will get an update soon. MIUI 9 has already been started rolling out to most of the devices, if not it will be available soon.
