There is no trick or tweaks to be followed because Google itself providing the standalone installer for all desktop platforms. You just need to append ?standalone=1 to the default chrome download page URL.
The default link to download Google Chrome browser is https://www.google.co.in/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html – which will download the online installer file.
The offline/standalone link to download Google Chrome browser is https://www.google.co.in/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html?standalone=1 – which will download the standalone installer file, you can install it offline.
Then, You can choose your desired platform by clicking the ‘Download Chrome for another platform’.
